Millage Election Public Notice
Our district is funded by the property owners in our service area. We appreciate your support. Without your help, the service we offer would not be possible. We are funded by ad valorem taxes (property taxes) not sales taxes. At the present time, we will be on the May 1 ballot for a millage renewal. In 2001, you, the voters, approved a millage of 27, or 25 + 2 mils. In this renewal, we are asking for a renewal of 26, or 25 +1, which is a reduction of one mil from the last election.
The general public is invited to attend an informational meeting on this issue to be held at Mandeville City Hall on Wednesday, April 21st at 7:00 p.m. If you have any questions prior to that time, please email me at mtassin@mandevillefire.com.
